Martin Brofman Passes On
On Monday August 11, 2014 Martin left this world peacefully. He is survived by his wife, Annick and son Edouard. Annick posted this note:
My dear friends,Et voilà, an angel passed. Martin left this morning around 6:00. He went in his sleep, quietly. He was greeted by his parents, his brother, his family and all the butterflies that had gone before him, who made a guard of honor for him, with welcoming applauses. Martin looked back to make sure I was holding Edouard in my arms comforting him and he went on to see his friends. He came back to see Edouard later this morning. We are peaceful.Thank you for sending him love and energy for his journey to be easy and full of light. From my heartAnnick
Brofman Foundation for the Advancement of Healing
Martin Brofman is a former Wall Street computer expert and a student of psychology and comparative religion. He developed the Body Mirror System and the Vision Workshops through his experience of releasing himself of a terminal illness which traditional medicine had considered untreatable and return himself to perfect health.
During his own healing process, he learned much about the Body Mind Interface, the relationship between the body and the consciousness, and how it works. He then developed a model in order to clarify these ideas for himself, as well as to provide a vehicle for teaching them easily and quickly to others.
Broffman has been teaching these ideas around the world for more than a quarter century, and has trained other teachers, as well. His books have been published in ten languages, and are widely acclaimed forthe clarity with which his ideas are expressed. Tens of thousands of students world-wide have learned to use his techniques.
The Foundation for Global Humanity team had the privilege of participating in Martin’s 4 day Healing Intensive 1 in Switzerland in September of 2013. For more information on Martin’s work and the Brofman Foundation for the Advancement of Healing click here.

Association for the Children of Mozambique
Barbara Hofmann gives a powerful, inspiring and heartfelt account of how a Swiss financial manager like her ended up in Mozambique, not knowing that her life was about to begin with the children and their new lives in ASEM at TEDxTalksAmsterdamWomen. She recounts the many struggles of ASEM and the inspiration the children provided her and how, together against all odds, they built their own place in sun. She ends her talk invoking the goodness in people; challenging the audience to seize that very moment and help others in need; to end violence, greed and the vicious cycle of poverty that haunts and kills.

What is Bioneers?
Founder Kenny Ausubel coined the term Bioneers in 1990 to describe an emerging culture. Bioneers are social and scientific innovators from all walks of life and disciplines who have peered deep into the heart of living systems to understand how nature operates, and to mimic "nature's operating instructions" to serve human ends without harming the web of life. Nature's principles—kinship, cooperation, diversity, symbiosis and cycles of continuous creation absent of waste—can also serve as metaphoric guideposts for organizing an equitable, compassionate and democratic society.
The Bioneers Conference is a leading-edge forum where you can see tomorrow today: a future environment of hope. Social and scientific innovators focus on breakthrough solutions inspired by nature and human ingenuity. These visionaries are already creating the healthy, diverse, equitable and beautiful world we want to live in—our legacy for future generations and the web of life on which our lives depend. You can connect with hundreds or thousands of engaged folks making a real difference.
We view the conference as a dose of optimism, where real world examples of people working to making improvements to our planet. You walk away from Bioneers with knowledge, inspiration and hope that we can change our ways.
The Bioneers website has extensive information with full schedule of speakers.
